Yesaya 30:30

30:30 The Lord will give a mighty shout ¹ 

and intervene in power, ² 

with furious anger and flaming, destructive fire, ³ 

with a driving rainstorm and hailstones.

Yesaya 33:3

33:3 The nations run away when they hear a loud noise; ⁴ 

the nations scatter when you spring into action! ⁵ 

Yesaya 66:6

66:6 The sound of battle comes from the city;

the sound comes from the temple!

It is the sound of the Lord paying back his enemies.

[30:30]  ² tn Heb “and reveal the lowering of his arm.”

[30:30]  ³ tn Heb “and a flame of consuming fire.”

[33:3]  ⁴ tn Heb “at the sound of tumult the nations run away.”

[33:3]  ⁵ tn Heb “because of your exaltation the nations scatter.”
